Introduction
Stephanie, owner of Twelve15 Design Studio in Cincinnati, came to us with a distinct point of view on interior design. Her work leans into bold color, layered pattern, and texture in a way that sets her apart from most designers in her market. Her existing website did not reflect that. It looked like the sites of dozens of other interior designers, with little to signal what made her approach different.
We led a full rebrand and website redesign for Twelve15 Design Studio, covering brand identity, a new Showit website, copywriting, and an SEO and GEO strategy built to support long-term visibility in Cincinnati and beyond. The project had a firm target: launch alongside a wave of national press coverage, including a feature in Architectural Digest.
The result is a site built around Stephanie’s actual design philosophy rather than generic industry language, with a long-form homepage structured for search visibility and a restyled blog for ongoing storytelling.

The Project
Twelve15 Design Studio is a Cincinnati interior design firm led by Stephanie, known for layering pattern, texture, and color into spaces that feel personal rather than trend-driven. Her clients come to her for design that pushes past safe choices, and her business had grown largely through referral and word of mouth.
Before the redesign, her website was built on Squarespace and did not represent that style. The homepage gave little indication of her location or her design philosophy, and the visual identity did not carry through consistently across her site and marketing materials. With national press coverage on the way, Stephanie needed a site that could hold up under new visibility and actually reflect who she is as a designer.

Objectives
- Build a visual identity and website that reflect Stephanie’s bold, layered design style instead of generic interior design branding
- Launch the new site on Showit in time for the release of national press coverage
- Structure the homepage and site content for strong local SEO in Cincinnati and visibility in AI-powered search
- Revive and restyle Stephanie’s archived blog to support storytelling and long-term SEO
- Build a portfolio structure that could grow as new projects were completed, incorporating both photography and video
The Approach

A Rebrand Built Around Bold, Layered Design
We developed a new visual identity around Stephanie’s actual aesthetic rather than a generic interior design look, incorporating the deep, saturated color palette she wanted to move toward and a wordmark built around the studio’s name. The goal was a brand that could hold both the moodier, richer tones she was drawn to and enough white space to keep the site feeling clean rather than cluttered.
Choosing Showit Over Squarespace
We moved Twelve15 Design Studio from Squarespace to Showit. Showit gave us more design flexibility for a highly visual, image-and-video-driven site, while still letting Stephanie edit pages herself without touching code. It also meant a more reliable path for migrating her existing blog content without losing SEO equity built up over time.

A Long-Form Homepage Built for SEO
Rather than a short homepage that sends visitors straight to internal pages, we built a long-form homepage that works more like a table of contents. It surfaces Stephanie’s location, her design philosophy, her press features, and her portfolio all in one scroll, giving both visitors and search engines a complete picture of the business without requiring extra clicks. This also gave us more room to build in the kind of specific, location-forward copy that supports SEO.
Reviving an Archived Blog
Stephanie had an older blog that had performed well for her in the past but had been hidden from her live site for some time. As part of our web design process, we migrated that content into Showit’s WordPress-powered blog and restyled it to match the new site. Bringing the blog back gave her a home for the kind of specific, project-driven content that search engines and AI systems reward, while also making it easier for visitors to browse past work by category.

Weaving Personality Into Every Page
Throughout the site, we wrote copy that reflects how Stephanie actually talks about her work and her studio, rather than defaulting to standard industry phrasing. That meant building in personality on pages like About, alongside the more structural work of organizing her services and portfolio clearly. As part of our SEO consulting process, we balanced that personality-driven copy with location and service-specific language throughout the site to support both search rankings and AI-generated search results.
